On the way to Cape Tribulation we passed through Daintree National Park and Rain Forest which had some spectacular views, so we stopped for some photos and coffee and then back on the road again.

Disaster struck not long after that, ahead of us there was a tail back of cars all with their hazard lights on so we got out out and had a look and Cooper Creek ahead of us was flooded. Pauric being Puric wanted to drive through it there and then and me being a lot more reluctant and nervous persuaded him to wait a while at least until the flood levels had gone down. Considering there were 4x4's and UTE's all parked up and not willing to risk it, we were hardly going to make it in our little camper. I just had visions of us and the camper van floating down the river with all our belongings! And i didn't want this to happen especially when there are signs up informing us that crocodiles inhabit this area! But i think since Pauric went White Water Rafting he thinks he can handle anything!

So we finally arrived at Capre Tribualation a few hours later and it was really stunning but there isn't much here except a National Park so we decided after lunch to head back down south.

So our next stop should be Townsville so we can get the ferry over to Magnetic Island!!
