Auckland - We arrived in New Zealand on 22 April 2008. We had decided the easiest way to see New Zealand was by a bus called the Magic Bus. Nelson - First stop from the ferry was Nelson, apparently it's knows as the sunshine coast as it officiallys receives the most hours of sunshine of anywhere in New Zealand. When we got to Melbourne we got the tram to St Kilda and stayed at a place called Base Backpackers. St Kilda is right on the beach front and very nice.As we were only staying here for about 6 nights we decided to see as much as we could. Melbourne itself is very nice and has lots of character. We left Brisbane to head towards Sydney, we stopped off at Byron Bay and Port Macquarie again! When we finally got to Sydney we only had a few days to cram everthing in as our time in Oz is coming to an end shortly.
