Our Global Gallivants
We loaded up the cooler and packed the barbecue and spent the afternoon at Yokohama Beach. Dwight's sister arrived on Tuesday night and we all went together. It was a nice day, but did start to rain at the end of the day. We came back to the condo and spent the rest of the daylight at the pool. We met another one of the owners here. He is 86 years old and you would never guess that. The guys chatted to him for a while and the ladies went to get ready for dinner. We decided on another Diners, Drive-ins and Dives joint. It was a restaurant in the Aiea Bowling Alley famous for oxtail soup. Parking was an issue there and we did have to wait a bit for a table. The oxtail soup was loaded with oxtail and was very good. We also had the shoyu pork, but I wouldn't recommend it. The meat was overcooked and stringy, waah! Should have shared the oxtail and saved room for dessert, because they had some really good looking cakes in the display case. After we got back, the guys watched a comedy on tv and the girls visited on the deck.
