Before I talk about today's activities, there were a couple of standouts from last night that missed the press deadline. I'll give the bad news first and that was the movie. Went to the gym for a workout this morning. Some lady asked me what I was practising and I told her karate. She asked me if I could show her something that she could use "to knock her husband on his ass". I wanted to say, call a lawyer! I've been a little lazy about writing the blog, so better play catch up. We drove into Honolulu on Thursday and went for dim sum in the Chinatown here. It was pretty good. We did a little shopping for veggies at the markets there. They have a nice selection to pick from, but on things are on the pricey side. Everybody was up pretty early this morning. We had our breakfast on the deck again and then hit the gym. We worked up a good sweat, partly do to the humidity level. Jan and I went to the pool for a while while Dave and Dwight ran some errands. There's a little shopping plaza fairly close to here so Dave and I walked over there to do some investigating. Had a lazy day yesterday. Did some exercise on the grass in the shade, read our book by the quiet pool and bought a few groceries. Dave brought along some movies, so we watched Jurassic World last night. It was a good movie, but don't ask me the ending, because, of course I was asleep.
