Today we were suppose to go to Versailles for the day but upon waking we decided we couldn't be stuffed so decided to head to the cemetery to see Jim Morrison's grave instead. What a beautiful cemetery it was, gees there were some families with alot of money buried in there. Jim Morrison's grave was nothing special but it was a treat to get to see it. We couldn't find Oscar Wildes grave and we had both had enough of walking on cobblestones for the time being. We then headed to the Catacombs where low and behold we found it shut due to air conditioning issues, bah bow, bad luck again. I was slightly annoyed at this as everything seems to be shut when we want to see it, 3rd thing thing in a row now arrrggghh. Anyway we made our way to the musee' d'orsay to see the works of art Trent has been so patiently waiting to see. On arrival the line was huge so after waiting in the cold for an hour we finally got in. It was great to see the works of art with your own eyes that you've seen pictures of your whole life, we saw works by, Van Gogh, Monet, Renoir, Tissot etc etc. After only an hour I was getting tired and bored so thankfully Trent was done pretty quickly so we decided to head back to the hotel early so we could get some, Quick Burger (fast food joint similar to Mcdonald's but better) mmmm, wouldn't you believe it we got all the way back to our hotel area and made our way to quick burger to find it shut, bah bow, bad luck again, oh well onto the nearest pub where we had some amazing food (me - nachos, onion rings, chicken wings. Trent - american sandwhich and fries) and even more amazing dessert of creme brûlée mmmmmmmm. Really hope the Louvre is worth it cause I'm tired just thinking about it.
