Today was a sort of rest day with no real set plans of what we were going to see or do. Today we were suppose to go to Versailles for the day but upon waking we decided we couldn't be stuffed so decided to head to the cemetery to see Jim Morrison's grave instead. What a beautiful cemetery it was, gees there were some families with alot of money buried in there. Jim Morrison's grave was nothing special but it was a treat to get to see it. We couldn't find Oscar Wildes grave and we had both had enough of walking on cobblestones for the time being. ...

Not as nice a day as yesterday, really thankful we did the outdoors stuff I wanted to do when the sky was blue and the sun shining, the Eiffel Tower just doesn't have the same sparkle on a grey day. Today we headed to the musee d'orsay for Trent to see his favourite artists' works, however upon arrival we found it was closed on Mondays :( well that threw a complete spanner in our works as I had planned on the day being spent there. We started our day after a bit of a sleep in and with a touch of apprehension as to how dodgy the place was going to be with thieves etc. We walked to our local metro station and made sure our belongings were either locked away or held close and attempted to get in our first train... With no luck, apparently you get 2.5 seconds to board the train before the doors close on you and you almost get dragged along beside it, we had better luck the second time quickly ...

We left London this morning and I was pissed that the sun was shining after 7 days of gloom and fog with drizzle. Not happy Jan. We were in a bit of a panic having booked our bus tickets last night and finding out we needed to print them to get on the bus, so we got up at sparrows fart to get to the coach station early to get it sorted, upon arriving we couldn't find the carrier so after a rushed phone call we found out that the email ticket would be acceptable...
