Rouen is a relatively small city in France, but it`s interesting because it`s a very medieval city. The old part of the city has lots of brick roads and it has lots of huge cathedrals which are all very closely located. It`s really odd that so many huge cathedrals are so close to each other.
Side note: I just want to point out that while I`m updating this website, Sean is on www.webmd.com looking to cure his various minor ailments, nice.
Anyway, Rouen was a nice sidetrip to slow down the pace after all the walking we did in Paris. Also, we saw a lightshow on the side of the largest cathedral which projected a series of paintings by Monet on the cathedral. Monet apparently had completed an entire series based on light impressions on that specific cathedral. Unfortunately, the show was preficed by a group of gypsies with a fire show that conned the crowd out of money, so I kindly gave them my `brown change`which is more annoying than its intended usage for storing value.
