So our unbelievable cruise journey has ended, for now, and weve arrived in Helsinki. Much smaller than I expected, only about 500 thousand, and more of a port city feeling than Stockholm our Copenhagen. We saw most of the city within 3 hours, not a whole lot to see, but another country so Im happy. Not much to say about the city, its not a must see like Stockholm. However, I did go to a bookstore and buy a 1200 page book called the History of the World, so that should keep me busy on trains for the next month. Weve been getting really into history since weve been over here and seeing all the museums and reading about the history of the cities. Sean just bought a book about Russian soldiers during WWII. Also, our conversations have strictly turned into food topics, everything we say somehow leads back to food and how hungry we are and how much I want a steak, or a Qdoba breakfast burritto, in fact this is actually making me hungry.
