Day 299, 29 April 2013, Manhattan, New York! 10 hour train trip --- yada yada yada.... And then we arrived at Penn Station - Woo Hooooo! Walked to our base on 43rd Street, between 7th and 8th avenues and did the quickest costume change ever - hit the streets of Broadway to find our feet and started falling over theatres and hit productions on every corner - Alec Baldwin, Tom Hanks, Matthew Broderick are in Broadway shows right now - and, so, is an incredible actress - the Divine Miss M - BETTE MIDLER! We know this because on our very first night on Broadway, sans-camera, we saw her stepping out the stage door of the Booth Theatre where she is appearing in a show called "I'll Eat You Last". Times Square is insane. The shoe shops are insane. We are, quite possibly, insane - tomorrow we start a 7 day New York Pass. Expect to have it paid for itself by the end of Day 1. Wish us luck!
