Day 312, 12 May 2013, Plantation Key. Possibly the easiest day of our one year of travels thus far. Did almost nothing. We know, right, alert the media. Almost nothing happens almost never. Day 310, 10 May 2013, Key West - day trip... long drive indeed (6 hours return), but wow! This is indeed the tropics. Day 309, 9 May 2013, Day Trip to Key Colony Beach... Settling in to the keys lifestyle swimmingly. We find it fascinating to be in a chain of islands all connected by a single road - the "overseas highway" - gives island hopping new meaning.
