Day 311, 11 May 2013, Plantation Key, Florida Keys. All Day. Laundry Day. Yay! It's been over a month since the gear has had anything more than a hand-wash. Mind you, so much was left in ragged piles in New York and we acquired new things... so not too bad. Still, pretty much everything needed attention. We went to work with stain remover, detergent and fabric softener - with my tropical white linen outfit it was either going to turn white again or dissolve in the water. Fortunately, three loads later, everything was fresh, clean and oddly looking twice as large. Must have plumped the fibres up. The next question is whether it all goes back in the bags. We read, wrote, sorted photos and religiously did not leave the house - fish dinner with friends during the evening - snapper freshly caught yesterday. Nice.
