Why isn't tallness a recognised disability?
Not a great nights sleep, the Germans came back at 4am and turned on the light. Surely there is some sort of hostel dorm code that you don't do this when you know someone else is in the room? Add this to the flatulence competition they seemed to be having with each other in the morning and my patience was wearing thin.
After checking out and collecting my rental car for the next 5 days I set off on the road to Te Anau. The drive was a good one, very picturesq driving between snowcapped mountains either side and getting to crank the Ipod up to a good level.
The best thing about Te Anau is the motel room I splashed out on. There really isn't much to do here, its a ghost town but I do welcome the change of scenery as its a good place to catch the tour bus to Milford Sound from tomorrow morning.
I spent some time on the net researching Melbourne as I will be flying there on Thursday. I literally can't wait for the Neighbours tour and hopefully ill be able to get into the Neighbours night at a pub in St Kilda, which is where im staying.
Karl Kennedy has a band called the 'Waiting Room' and they sometimes play at Neighbours night. I used to want Karl and Susan to be my TV parents but I also used to fancy Susan a little bit, im not entirely sure what that all means.
