We had a bit of a sleep in this morning and when we eventually got out of bed we went for a walk down at the beach before starting breakfast. The kids played at Cowrie Island for a while and then we headed home for food. We spent the morning doing schoolwork and then after lunch headed back down to the beach for a swim. Unfortunately it was really cold and windy again. Nick and the kids had a swim but I couldn't face it and while watching on the beach I got rained on! Once Nick got out and a second rain cloud came over we called it quits and went back to the caravan. Katharine had a shower inside and washed her hair and we were horrified by how much water it used - we are now on rations if we are to last until Sunday!! The kids had a hot chocolate and watched a movie while Nick and I played scrabbled and then we had an early dinner before heading back down to the beach for another walk. We took torches and found lots of crabs running all over the rocks and then saw a baby snake on the way home. A frog was sitting in Tally's water bowl when we got home so the kids were very happy with everything they had spotted! The only down side was the huge mosquitoes flying around the van. By the time we went to bed there were smashed black splotches all over the caravan walls!!
