Woken this morning by Anna needing a wee - she has worked out it is the only thing I will respond too! Thought about walking the beach but instead climbed back into bed and 5 minutes later it started to rain, so very glad I did. Nick made pancakes for breakfast, which were awesome and eventually we were ready to head into town. We needed a new bag for the top of the car and it took a while to find. Then we promised to take the kids to the toyshop to spend their christmas money from the Hilders. Jonny got a remote controlled car and it was broken within an hour and Matty got a skateboard. He spent the rest of the day walking around the playground with it under his arm calling out "wha'sup dude"! I don't think he's actually ridden it yet! The rest of the day was spent sorting out the caravan and repacking the car as we left Perth in such a rush we just chucked everything wherever there was a space. Once we got sick we threw it all in the annex and we've climbed over everything since. More rain threatened so we even packed up the annex. After dinner we managed a walk from Middleton Beach to Emu Point before turning in, shattered! It's amazing how little you need to do to fill your day and how much you are ready for bed at the end of it!!
