Last evening we went on our Brauhaus (AKA pub) tour. We went to 4 different Brauhauses that served the unique to Cologne, Kolsch beer. It is a light beer and very hoppy. Not our favorite but the experience was fun. We love to get out with the local people. Today we continued to cruise towards Amsterdam. We had a very heavy shower in the morning and thought we were in for rainy day. It cleared up just as we docked in Kinderjdijk. It is a well preserved area with several Dutch windmills. We toured the windmills and then we went to our farewell dinner. It's hard to believe that that 2 weeks have gone by so fast. We had dinner with our friends Craig and Carole and Cynthia and Winnie from Australia. We love the way Viking does disembarkment. While we have to be out of our cabin by 9:00AM, we can stay on the ship as long as we want. Since we cannot check into our hotel until about 2:00PM, we can leave our luggage on the ship, tour a little Amsterdam, come back for lunch, and then head to our hotel.
