We had breakfast with Chris at a little restaurant on the pier. He did get to stay very long since he had to go back to work.

Corey and I wanted to spend some more time on the beach, so went to the beach in Kitty Hawk. The waves were really rough today! One hit me the wrong way and sent me tumbling. It flipped me upside down and slammed my shoulder into the sand. My back was really hurting after that.

We saw some kite-boarders up the beach from us. It was fun watching them. We tried to do some boogie-boarding, but the waves were not good for that. The ocean was generating some big waves, but they were crashing really shallow.

We had dinner at Tortuga's Lie. The place was packed! There was a large party sitting behind us and they were cupping their hand to yell at one another across the table. I tried a drink called "Shark Bait" which was a lemonade-tasting drink with a plastic shark. Inside the shark was Grenadine that you poured into your drink to simulate the "shark attack." I should have taken a picture!
