Today's word is peace. This is something I have been searching for this semester. The joy and ease of the past year is gone. I knew seminary would be hard, but apart from a few short periods (like finals) I have been delighted to be here. I have not experienced the breaking down of beliefs that so many of my colleagues and friends experienc…
Bethany Love that, Judy!
re: Who Am I?Judy Jones God has a plan for all of us. I always remember what Michael used to day about our work with God. It is not or and or, it is and and and. I will pray for you as you continue this walk with Him.
re: Who Am I?Kristi I like them all!! Nice pics!
re: BlueKristi I like your blogs! The school and the God himself inserts seem to be working together for you! Reading your post here about the cheese gravy made me snort out loud, which distracted Randy. He'll read it later. He has 3 more papers to put comments on so they can go up for open house on Wednesday, and can't stop now. Are you still there, or have you headed home yet? I want to hear more!
re: Denver SeminaryBethany Tracy-no bus buddy is as good as you! It was so funny that you guys thought the broke college students would be bigger bait than the nearby Aston-Martins! Haha! Good trip! Did you try the cheese fries at Gunther Toody's? It kind of reminded me of a mixture of poteen and nacho cheese. I was not a fan!
re: Planes, Buses, & Flip FlopsTracy Ha!! I was one of the ones freaking out, 'cause it was midnight and the bus driver said it was the end of the line! I remember having trouble getting the taxis there without an actual address (what, you dunno where the Porsche and Mazeratti dealerships are??), and splitting the group between cabs. Ah, good times... Also, there was a Gunther Toody's here in Jackson for a while! It's closed now, but one time Jason and I asked about purchasing a bottle of their seasoning and the waitress's response was, "Are you sure? It's, like, $3.00." We splurged that night. ; ) (And still laugh about it!) Enjoy the rest of your trip, and pick a good bus buddy!! : )
re: Planes, Buses, & Flip FlopsBethany Hader Trust me, I get excited about software! I just realize that the other staff at my church are not as excited about software....yet! I'm about to show them the serving module in Access, so I think that's about to change! Thanks for all you do!
re: Hello, Atlanta!Dean Lisenby Bethany, Thanks for attending the Ideas to Impact Conference. From looking at the About Us Page, I'm not sure we actually met but I hope you left with everything you came looking for. While not everyone gets excited about software, we do! Again, thanks for coming!
