The rain set in earlier today, so we did what is best to do in rainy weather, sleep! Once we got up, we went and had lunch which was actually pretty tasty. We then visited The Blue Mosque. Bek had to get dressed up in appropriate attire to enter which was an experience. The Blue Mosque was very spectacular on the outside, the inside was also pretty amazing. Lots of people wanting to check it out, some going in there just to pray although they close it at official prayer times. Massive line however it moved very quickly. We headed back to the Grand Bazaar as we wanted to buy a nice light for home - we chose a set of three that hang like a chandelier. Took a while to choose the colour and right type to fit. Despite it being bubble wrapped and in a box, it only weighed three kilos so we were able to put it in the suitcase. We headed back to pack and update the budget as we are keeping a tally of what we have spent throughout the trip. Organised our shuttle bus pick up for tomorrow. Shock horror it was for 7.25am. Havdn't been up that early in a little while. Dinner again was surprisingly yummy, Turkey mayof redeemed themselves of their tasteless, and simple food. Off to Athens tomorrow!
