We left Lucerne and crossed the border for a visit to the smallest country - Leichtenstein, even got the passport stamped in the capital Vaduz. We booked a 9-7pm bike and wine tour (interesting combination!). We took an hour train ride to Wachau and then did a 25km bike ride near the river, in between the grape wines. We went to 3 wineries, tried an award winning chardonnay which was not at all like an Australian chardonnay. We also tried a local red and bought a bottle of each. The train from Salzburg to Vienna was nice and quick! We were lucky to end up with the apartment all to ourselves as our host went away. We headed out in the afternoon to the Freud Museum - where he lived and worked. It was small but was amazing to see his office and waiting room, and couch where he did psychoanalytic therapy. We had a chilled night as we had an all day tour booked the following day.

We started the day with a one hour bus tour throughout Salzburg, it was good to see some things we haven't seen before and learn more about the history, but wouldn't rate it. Walking tours are much more worthwhile. Next, it was The Sound of Music time with Panorama Tours. 2 hours via train and we had reached Salzburg, super excited! After having lunch and getting to our accommodation, we caught the bus to downtown Salzburg and had a stroll. Salzburg was a very pretty place. We walked through Mirabell Garden and then had a coffee in front of Mozart's birthplace turned museum! Then chilled with takeaway Chinese watching the World Cup, can't understand the commentary but oh well. Really shouldn't complain!
