We got up very late this morning and went and had some Turkish cuisine for lunch. Afterwards, we entered the Hagia Sophia Museum which was the awesome view from our accommodation window. This monument was previously used as a church for 916 years then a mosque for 481 years. It had been a museum since 1935, and it only took 5 years to build which was amazing back then. They say it was the number one thing to visit in Istanbul, we could certainly see why. We had a tour guide show us around, but he just gave us a very biased and politically incorrect view of religion and culture when he was supposed to be telling us about the museum. We rested a bit then headed out for some food. This place didn't seem to stop regardless of the time! We got the museum card so will use that again over the next 2 days.
