Our last day in Antequera! It had been such a nice time and was a good way to spend the last of our 2 weeks in Spain! I would definitely return, this country has so much to offer - the people are friendly and respectful, the food is lovely and there is so much to see and do in this beautiful country. Antequera which was a lovely place to stay in order to explore the southern region (Andalucia). It must be an early night tonight as we have a 6.40am flight !

Granada: it was an early one as we drove to Granada today at the early hour of 8am! A bit of a hiccup to start the day (don't worry the drive was fine!), we booked our tickets for the La Alhumbra online but to only be told that they meant to email us to inform us there was no room for us in the audio tour! Just a relaxed day today...took a drive to the Mercadona to buy some supplies, mainly of the alcohol kind! Our hosts weren't wrong when saying u can buy a local bottle of gin for under 5 euros. So far our favourite wine is Estolla which is mighty tasty and goes down well like a smooth red wine should! Enjoyed some relaxation by reading a book. Day trip to Seville: we took the local train Renfe which we used before to travel between Barcelona and Madrid. The 2 hour comfortable trip brought us to Seville. After lunch we took the City Sightseeing Sevilla - Hop on/Hop off bus around Seville. It was a good way to see the town because it was quite expansive. Another restful morning then we headed out for a stroll (not really a stroll when it involves steeps hills!) however enjoyable to be in the sun.
