We changed rooms today, to a much bigger and cooler room right next to the other one, which was great! We figured as our initial booking started today (we extended the booking for a few days earlier) that this was the room we initially booked. We had a breeze from two sides of the room, so it was nowhere near as stuffy. And a balcony with an amazing view! Plus, the internet connection was ten times better. Anyways enough about the room. We researched a bit to determine whether tap water was ok to drink. For a couple days we were drinking tap water, needless to say we then moved on to bottled water! For the day, we decided to go to the Istanbul Archeology Museum which was just like other museums of ancient artifacts, not terribly exciting for some. We also visited the place where they buried the sultans and families. We headed back as it was forecast for rain and was looking rather cloudy. We made it back just in time, strong winds and thunder came along with rain but didn't last that long. For dinner we had Indian, yes Indian in Turkey. Overall we have found the food here to be disappointing, nothing special and not overly tasty. Quite plain and simple food which has been a shame, despite trying various dishes. So we thought we would mix it up. Finished with some baklava, now that stuff is tasty!
