We started the day by taking a cruise to Giudecca Island to see the glassblowing workshop. Then we spent a few hours on the island that hosts St Mark's Square and saw the Rialto Bridge. A pretty place, enjoyed seeing all the canals and gondolas. A late lagoon cruise and lunch was had on the island Burano which is famous for its multicolored houses. Lunch was a typical Italian meal, with lovely wine and finished with an Italian liquor. No dinner needed tonight! We got back on the bus and to the hotel just as the rain set in, but another warm and sunny day for most of the day. We were guessing Italy would continue with this weather! Off to Rome tomorrow.
