Most of today was spent traveling, but the reward at the end was well worth it! Rome was lovely...we did a walking tour to start our time in the capital and enjoyed walking around the city, viewing the gorgeous buildings. We did not put our name down for the tour but our tour guide did not want us to miss out so she told us to join the group, free of charge. How nice! We entered St Ignacio di Loyola, and the Pantheon which was stunning! We walked down the 'Spanish Steps' and had a yummy pizza and gelato at Piazza Navona for dinner. We finished off the night with a beer whilst watching the World Cup semi final (game 2).
