After leaving Innsbruck, we travelled into Italy and spent some time for lunch in Verona - we viewed Juliet's balcony, the setting for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and had a lovely walk around the market and shopping area. We had some time to ourselves this afternoon as the others did an optional activity, it was good to have some time away from the group. It was very hot today and therefore not surprising when it rained over dinner. Did not see a lot of Venice yet as we were staying on the main island. We had a nice dinner in the hotel and we were looking forward to exploring the beautiful city of Venice tomorrow.
