6am wake up calls are not fun! Although for good reason, we entered the Vatican Museum, and St Peter's Basilica which was just spectacular. After lunch, we entered the famous Colosseum, an advantage of being on a tour is not having to line up for tickets, which was super long. Today was warm, but pleasant in the shade and with the breeze. We had a short siesta before heading out for dinner and drinks of Italian food with live musicians. Fantastic entertainment (Jas being serenaded by the waiter!), endless amount of wine and beer which was dangerous! Might feel it tomorrow. Loved everything we saw and did today, so amazing!
