3am starts are not cool! We had to wake early and drive to Granada Airport to catch our flight to Munich. 3 hours later we were in Germany! We caught a taxi to our accommodation, maybe our luck of being able to solely rely on the metro system is over, however we did not have a map at this stage. We were exhausted so had a couple hours of much needed sleep. We then went walking around Marienplatz which is their city centre. So many lovely buildings, including the ultra cool and famous "Glockenspiel" (Carillon), which we were in time for the 5pm chime which was fairly spectacular. We found a bar (accidentally!) that did happy hour cocktails and found a fruit shop that sold cherries for only 5 euros a kilo - delicious they were! And now we r calling it a night after a long day!
