Today we had sunshine!! Woke up to a nice day, perfect to visit Berlin Zoo which was great. An awesome range of animals, including skippy and his friends! Strolled around for a couple hours, enjoying the warmer weather for our last time out in Berlin. We then headed back to our accommodation and packed for our flight to London. We woke up to lots of rain! We waited for it to settle a bit before heading out. We couldn't reserve tickets to the Reichstag online until the weekend so had to line up, well Jas did anyways in the rain whilst Bek waited at the coffee shop next door! The ticket machine broke down so after waiting around 1.5hrs, we were able to go up today (originally told only from tomorrow). It was a good view but the experience and build up was underwhelming given the time take...

Have we mentioned how good walking tours are??! This one this morning took us to Brandenburg Gate, Hitler's Bunker, Jewish Memorial, Checkpoint Charlie, SS Headquarters, The Berlin Wall, TV Tower, Gendarmenmarkt, Pariser Platz and a Luftwaffe HQ - just to name a few! Another train ride - this time a 4.5 hr journey from Prague to Berlin. Comfortable and went by fast. Was quite chilly upon arrival!! We purchased the Berlin Card which included free transport on their metro system and entrance into their museums. We checked in to our accommodation and had some lunch (well more like dinner). We then headed to check out The Berlin Wall, pretty amazing stuff! Spent time planning our next couple days, quite a bit to see in Berlin!
