We woke up to lots of rain! We waited for it to settle a bit before heading out. We couldn't reserve tickets to the Reichstag online until the weekend so had to line up, well Jas did anyways in the rain whilst Bek waited at the coffee shop next door! The ticket machine broke down so after waiting around 1.5hrs, we were able to go up today (originally told only from tomorrow). It was a good view but the experience and build up was underwhelming given the time taken to wait and the process of needing passports and security. After lunch, we visited the Schloss Charlottenburg, or the palace built for Sophie Charlotte who was the Electress of Brandenburg (Queen of Prussia, could of also been the Queen of England but died young). It was built from 1695 and was beautiful! Lastly we squeezed in the Olympic Museum which was pretty cool, glad we scored a free umbrella someone left at the tube because by the time we left the stadium, it was bucketing! Time to head back and get warm!! A good day had despite the weather.
