Woke up safely next to annie at 12:00 today. I have no idea how! I think it's the first time ever where I've not remembered a thing from the previous night, don't know what I drank, how I got home, how I got undressed?! But the main is that we're fine and everything's intact!
KFC are supposed to start making fish burgers again today and Annie can't eat anything else, so we made that our excuse to go there for breakfast! Plus not forgetting its good value here! Still no fish though, liars! I don't think they expected we would come back every other day to check!
Discussed last night with Annie and things progressively started coming back to us! We can make a kind of idea of what happened and then fill in the blanks!
When I write about going out partying, I feel so bad as I know i should do amazing things since I'm at the other side of the world and not go out all of the time but, we do see lots of amazing things, we've been to so many different city's, met different people and experienced so many things on a daily basis we deserve to let loose on the weekends!
I don't even want to go out tonight as I feel so Ill still but seen as we're also in the capital city which comes to life at night, with strips of clubs bars and winery's there's not much more to do at night!
If anybody reading these blogs has been travelling when they were my age and ever compares my blog to there experience of home stays and no wifi no communication and etc. that's fine but things nowadays are so different! In almost every city we have been we have met and made friends with local boys/girls of a similar age to us who surprisingly share not so different lives to us!
It may seem like Asia is a very foreign place to us and it is but, the local people we meet that take us around town and show us the best clubs etc are going to these places themselves! So it's not as if we choose to follow the tourist route and go hang out with other travellers just to get drunk! We are still getting a taste of local life here! It's just drastically moved forward a lot over the years!
So please don't hate us for getting drunk or think that we're not experiencing the culture as we should; we are, we see all the top attractions, we meet locals, visit worshipping places and more, and we take our time doing it and we have fun partying on weekends, doing nothing in the daytime! All of our local friends do the same!
Rant over.
Well that filled a short gap of nothingness that would have made today's blog!
Feeling so tired from the travel days and the partying we went back home for more sleep and I didn't wake up until 8pm!
Went to eat rice again at the hawker stall food court in Chinatown, Annie likes the Malay guy working there!
I don't want to go out but it's probably our last night out in Malaysia as Melaka next, Is a quieter, historical town We're there's lots of history to absorb!
So got ready, minus the pre-drinks tonight! So not getting too drunk! I think it would make me more sick! Went to marketplace again, last £8 il have to pay to get into an Asian club again hopefully! It's okay though because you get a free badge with your drink... :|
Met Weikun and Stephen there again and they insisted in buying us drinks as a farewell gesture! It's apparently good luck to neck a full glass of wine! I was hesitant but in the end they do say it's rude to not accept so I had no choice! After that I started feeling fine again and so the drinking commenced all night long again! My liver hates Asia!
Had such a funny night saying goodbye to all the random friends we've made in this club and accepting far too many free drinks! There was a group of gothic looking, black nailed weirdos, all celebrating a birthday there too, or a Halloween party as Clay called it! We stood and tried to suss the Edward Scissor hands wannabe for a while until he got offended that we thought he looked like Adam Lambert! Awks!
We left at three, or got thrown out rather! And Weikun drive us to Zouk! Where it's open until 6! They wouldn't let us in without passports though which is annoying! So we went to another street of clubs and parked in the Sheraton hotel, we walked through to get to the front entrance and respectfully as ever started playing the grand piano at now, 4:00am! I'm sure I sounded amazing still! The maids were setting up the buffet breakfast of fruit and vegetables of which numerous carrots were stolen as souvineers! I'm not sure why nobody questioned us!
After a short carrot carrot fight in street to say goodbye to Stephen he left as he has to work today! Oops! See, we're not the only ones being naughty! Then the remaining three of us went to eat, local food would have gone down a treat but not a single place was open apart from regrettably, McDonalds! awks when the breakfast menu has already began!
The whole restaurant seemed shocked by Annie planking in the middle of the que, head first on the floor! I always choose the classy ones! The whole upstairs was occupied by tramps asleep! Grose! Apparently they were, 'waiting for a bus'?
We got home for 6am and wide awake I wanted to stay up to get in line for the Petronas towers bridge at 8:00am but as none of our local friends are interested in going to see it and Annie's now fast asleep anyway I may as well sleep! Zzzzzzzz
