Woke up late!!! Tried to think of as many different ways as I can to make it sound like its something different but i feel there's no need to beat around the bush anymore! Ha!
We went for subway sandwich for breakfast! I feel bad Everytime I'm writing about eating western food in Asia as I know you dont want to hear it but, for breakfast noodles or rice will not suffice! So other than a sandwich from subway or an egg mcmuffin, what other choice do we really have?
When we were in there it started to rain, so we went back for two hours, wrote blogs and waited until 6pm to go to the KL observation tower!
It was amazing! The weather in the afternoon was still a bit dull/grey but they let us stay up there as long as we like until 9pm I think! So worth the £6! We managed to get daytime photos of the city, the sunset was kind of none existent but then we got to see the city lit up at night too! The panoramic view would have been better had there not been so many photographers with there DSLR cameras set up right infront of the twin towers mind! They also took a proffessional photo of us before going up the tower which we could buy for £7... The guy turned his back and so we just took photos of the screen photo! A printed one would get crumpled in my rucksack anyway and stealing is free ;)
(it was all Annie's idea mum)
When we left we took the 400mtre lift down to ground level, we waited so it would be just the two of us so we could plank obvs! Then the lift malfunctioned and decided to not open the doors then take us straight back up again! The elevator takes 58 seconds to travel up or down so it's pretty fast considering how high up it travels! I left my stomach on the 60th floor and was nearly ready to be sick when we got to the top! The guy giggled as he must have pressed the wrong button... Sent us both back down, we ended up going down and then straight back up again! I'm now ready to pass out! The third attempt took us even higher to the restaurant level and back down and back up for a fourth time! I think I was ready to just jump off of the top and commit rather than go in another lift down!
When we FINALLY got to the bottom we had a walk around, there's a park with a few parrots and apparently the worlds largest double headed turtle! Don't want to look around the 'zoo' type places though, I'd rather trek through the jungle to bird watch and see wild animals! If I wanted a zoo id go to one in England!
We akso still need to go across the bridge that joins the twin Petronas towers so we walked there to the city centre after the KL Tower but the ticket office was closed! We found out you have to que from 7/8am in the morning and it's first come first served to book a time for the day! We will never get to see it if we have to be up at that ridiculous hour and make our way across town!
I craved western food AGAIN and we debated just going to Nando's or T.G.I Fridays but all you oldies would be proud, we didn't succumb to temptations and we ate Malay again at a stall in Chinatown! Had some form of pork parcel wonton things in soup! With noodles! I don't think it has a name, if it does I don't know how I can describe it in English, I don't think I will ever eat it again brcause it was fishy! But I'm glad I tried it and I can say I have had it now! Back to McDonakds for breakfast again I think!!! Ha!
