As we travel down from the higher elevation to the Chihuahuan Desert, this is the largest Desert in the US. We pass these large bolders at a rest area. It looked like God had just dropped a few rocks out of nowhere and then decided to leave it alone to turn to the most flat, good for nothing land I have ever seen. The desert is not a picturesque place to be.

While we were staying in Williams, AZ we drove to the town of Sadona. This area has some of the most expensive realestate in the US and I could see why. The red rocks surrounding the town were stunningly beautiful. The town itself reminded me of a small Gatlinburg. The tourist part of town was only about 2 blocks but it was one tourist shop after another.

Today we traveled from Williams, AZ to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. It is once again amazing how you approach, and it is just a sidewalk with a knee wall at the end. Then you get close enough to see over and your like "Holy, Moly, look at the size of that hole". We toured Antelope Canyon with the most amazing Navajo guide named Ryan. He was so friendly, informative and helpful. The tour of the slot canyons was supposed to be between 50 and 70 minutes but we were in there over 90 minutes. It was about one mile that we walked and took more pictues then you could imagine.
