Today we drove to the far western side of North Dakota. On the way we detoured to see the "enchanted highway". Basically, it was a man who made on huge iron statue and people started coming to see it, so he made another and then another and it grew into a 30 mile stretch of highway with a bunch of super huge metal statues along the way. I have been very impressed with Minnesota and North Dakota. As we drive through the towns in their states, everything is so well manicured, clean and inviting. No cars on blocks, and no run down areas, you can really tell the people of these states take pride in their surroundings. I am also sure that no corn is grown in any other country but the US.
