Well it is over, we traveled over 8,500 miles through 20 states and visited 17 national parks. When asked which is my favorite I can't just pick one thing. I have had a wonderful time and it is hard to believe how much we packed into just a little over 2 months. We certainly were blessed. Our last stop of the trip was in Waco to visit the Magnolia Market and Table. The food was good at the table restaurant but the other stuff in the market were way overpriced. While we were in Waco the fair was there and we got to go to a rodeo. It was a lot of fun and I was surprised how fast the events occured. There was not an empty moment that something was not happening.

We spent a couple nights in San Antonio where we went into town and toured the Alamo and then the river walk in their beautiful city. They really had worked hard to make this city very tourist friendly and fun to hang out in. While in the area we also drove over to the gulf coast in search of a seniors RV park where we might enjoy spending a couple of months in the winter. We drove across the bottom of New Mexico headed to Carlsbad Caverens. Our first stop was at Deming. While there we were able to drive down to Mexico and walk across the border to the "Pink Store". It was supposed to close about 15 minutes after we got there but when they found out we did not realize that they stayed after hours and fed us a traditional Mexican meals and let browse and purchase several items in the store. As we travel down from the higher elevation to the Chihuahuan Desert, this is the largest Desert in the US. We pass these large bolders at a rest area. It looked like God had just dropped a few rocks out of nowhere and then decided to leave it alone to turn to the most flat, good for nothing land I have ever seen. The desert is not a picturesque place to be.
