We catch up on 'housework' then wander in to town. From one of the alleyways we hear folk music and singing which we find is coming from outside a winery, so we stop to listen for a minute. Next thing we are presented with a glass of wine each and find out it is a promotion for the latest year's wine. We are in no hurry this morning and have a cooked breakfast. Nick and Grete go off on their bike while we amble the few hundred yards into town. The storm continued well into the night and when we get up bedraggled tenters are mopping up and wringing out their kit. The original plan was to walk/bike into Rab town and stay a second night, but Stalagluft 97 is so unwelcoming and over priced we will now check out, park in town and drive on after our visit.
