The big storm cleared the air and it is a much cooler 24C today with a fresh breeze. We go to the bus stop at the site entrance to catch the 10:40 bus into Split, N+G are taking the bike in. The bus finally arrives at 11:05 and begins the 25 minute ride to Split Old Town. We leave around 11:00 and drive back through the town, pausing to get some postcards. This morning's section of the coast road is described in books as the most beautiful part of the coast, and it does not disappoint. We stop in a layby above a bay where we can see the road snaking along the cliffs. Ali has a chat with a couple touring in a car.
