Cockatoo Island was our destination for sight seeing today. Brought a daily bus/ferry ticket which was $50 for all of us!! Can now understand why people take advantage of the funday Sunday as that only cost us $10. Anyhow, still cheaper than paying for parking and ferry tickets. Had a great day today at the Taronga Zoo. Got there around 9:30am and left around 3:45pm. Was wondering when we got into the car to head home why was l feeling so tired, well because l was walking around for 6 hours l suppose idiot!!! Today we headed off into the city to the Sydney Aquarium. Found that the bloody patrol doesnt do undercover parking very well, need a clearance of 2.5m and most only do 2.1m!!! Totally frustrating as had a few discounted parking places through the aquarium but in the end couldnt use as didnt fit, so ended up having to pay $32 just for parking!!! Today we decided to conquer the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. Its family funday Sunday here which means we get a ticket for publiuc transprot (including bus,train & ferry) for $2.50 each!!! So cheap.
