We called in for a few nights at 'The Herezo's' in our time down south. We have missed them terribly and were very humbled by the fact that they felt the same way too....
It was great to catch up on their lives since we had been away and to relax amongst great friends. All the kids, Bailey, Chloe, Joshua, Boo and Meg played wonderfully and got along like a house on fire. All the kids were interested in their chooks, which we later named 'Steggles' and 'Ingham'!! Lol...,
We had a few memorable times, one of which was when we ventured over to Lake Mulwala for the 'Toy Story Wayer Ski Show'. It was a fabulous arvo and evening. First we stopped of at Yarrawonga for the kids to enjoy the water slide, then we headed over to the ski show. We had just parked and were walking towards the entrance when Melissa asked 'where's Josh?'... We all looked at each other then Melissa dropped the bags and ran back to the car, where she found Josh sitting up happily still in his car seat eating chips!!! We all couldn't believe we had forgotten him but were all laughing hysterically with tears down our eyes.... Eventually it happens to all parents one way or another.... With the drama over, and our spirits back we headed in for a fun night. Melissa and l were up for some adventure and had a thrill ride on 'The Slingshot' ride. It a steel round cage that your fastened in and is held down by a magnet when they release the magnet and your expelled into the air going up and down like a yo-yo. Melissa crapped her dacks and we both squealed and laughed together. We then say by the lake and enjoyed some pizza then the ski show began. The kids loved it to say the least. All the characters were in the show from Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Bulls Eye and even Barbie and Ken. The Mulwala Ski Club did a fantastic job. It was a great story line, with humour for adults and kids and plenty of ski jumps and thrills along the way. Was a fantastic day had by all....
We also had the great pleasure of being around for Chloe's 5th b'day and her party. Even got to help decorate the cake. I think the kids enjoyed being home for one of their friends b'days, since we had missed most of them whilst being away.
One thing for sure, was great to catch up with Melissa, Corey and the kids. We sure have missed them. It was also great to see Donny and Ellen and Harry and they were kind enough to have us round for a BBQ which the kids enjoyed a trailor ride behind the ride on mower!!
