Day 14. Harrisonburg, Virginia.Our day off turned out to be fairly busy, and involved about a 100miles of riding. It seems to be very difficult to do anything without getting on the bikes. In the morning we headed off the Dukes of Hazard museum and cafe, owned by the actor who played Cooter, the mechanic in 'The Dukes'. Then headed up to Skyline Drive for a waterfall walk. Day 13. Harrisonburg, Virginia.Another day of sweeping roads and beautiful scenery through West Virginia. Sort of a cross between Wales in the sun and northern Spain - forest covered hills/mountains and steep river valleys. WV has been a real surprise. Unfortunately it's also one of the poorer states, with little opportunity for farming and little sign of industry or other types of jobs.
