Motorcycling in the shadow of the moon
Day 5a. Amish Country, Pennsylvania.
Turned out to be pretty jam packed. We started by heading 65 miles east to Lancaster County, to visit a town called Intercourse, which has a large Amish, Mennonite, and Brethren population. This was a nice little place with lots of quilting shops, and crafts for sale. Also went on a 'buggy' ride (horse and cart) to visit a local Amish / Mennonite farm.
Saw lots of unusual bikes with no pedals (more like scooters, see blog photo), which seemed to be a common design in the area.
