We woke up both fresh (gasp) - Bushy Dave (post 'hair of the dog') was not feeling so good.
Adelaide River has a WWII cemetry, that we walked down to have a look at.
The picture is of a flat cane toad, that we kept seeing on the way there. Cane toads are vermin in Aus, cars will try and flatten them as they drive along. They also scare the poo out of you as they russell in the dried leaves - Australia has the most poisonous snakes in the world.
Didn't do a lot in the afternoon, pool and shoes repairs. Mad Bushy Dave who had spent all day at the pub eventually sniffed us out and applied pressure for us to join him there.
POM, Pommy this, Pommy that was Daves vocabulary plus a wierd latch on England being a swamp. This is the Aussie way of being friendly. I countered this with England has more pubs per square mile than Australia (Daves Achilles heel).
Amanda (the chef) finished work with lots of alcohol. There was no one on the street of this one inn place. She asked if anyone wanted a party but left with no one underderred - she was going to have a party with herself.
