Last night it got down to 2 degrees C - when you are used to 34 during the day and 26 at night this came as a shock. Liz had it in her head fully clothed under two thick quilts (and room heater) that we cannot camp here. Today we fly to Alice Springs ( 2hrs flight) or to put it another way half way down the Stuart Highway that we are camped on in Darwin. Just behind our tent runs a pipe (see blog picture) that goes to Alice Springs (and beyond?) - kind of wierd to think that we might be looking at the same pipe in Alice. Alice Springs is cooolllddd.
