Gavriluk camp! We have acquired some more luxuries: two seats and 'the beast', a 1.8 liter Toyota Corolla. Unlike the spark in South Africa this does something when you put your foot down (other than drink fuel).
We are in Litchfield National Park, noted for it's waterfalls and swim holes. We will have a look at them tomorrow, most of the day has been getting more food, counting scratches on the car (it is a rent a roughy - so there was a lot) and getting here.
The rest of the day was spent sitting in the chairs round the tent watching the walabies, waving flies away and seeing 4x4s arrive. One Aussie group in a van did it in style. In a single action both males took their first step to ground whilst pulling a ring pull on their beer. They said they were thirsty - mate.
