Said a sad farewell to the bike. Drove from Milwaulkee to Chicago trying to avoid toll roads. Stopped at the hotel first to drop the bags. This meant a fairly major drive through Chicago interstate the middle of the day to the rental drop-off. Aaagghh! Not fun. Anyhoo returned the bike having travelled 2914 miles on it. Took the 'El' back to the hotel, checked in and chilled. Later headed out in our local neighbourhood, Lincoln Park. Found a nice Irish bar and ordered a $5 pitcher. Going out on a Monday night is fab! Then decided to head to the same place as we had been on the first night of our trip for a yummy burger.
Suddenly the tiredness kicked in and had to admit defeat.
