Well, what can I say? I am totally loving Oklahoma! After a relaxing couple of days by the pool in OKC, we left at 7 this morning to try and beat the heat. It was 84 when we left and over 100 by ten o'clock. Since the interstate in Okie is mostly tollroad we drove Route 66 most of the way and saw some cool stuff. Oooooooooooklahoma, where the wind comes sweeping down the plain! Well Memphis was hot, Texas was hot, Palm Springs was 106•. But Oklahoma trumps them all.
