Very little to report today!
As we were staying on the same site for 2 nights we decided that we deserved a lay in, especially as we struggle getting up early at the mo! We're both shattered as we've had a busy few weeks so decided to stay at this site by the lake for 2nights so that we could have today to chill and relax a bit.
We spent much of the morning watching tv and on the internet as it was cold and windy outside! Gave us chance to catch up on the blog a bit!
After some lunch we went for a drive around the local area, including to the other side of the lake and to the tiny village. We were hoping that we would be able to see Mount Cook from Lake Tekapo but unfortunately not, only from Lake Pukaki.
The rest of the afternoon was spent reading up on SE Asia, reassuring ourselves that it wont be as scary as we think it will be! Then the evening was spent watching tv again! It was very homely considering it was a camp site!
Our last night in Newt tonight, we're taking her back to Christchurch tomorrow where we will spend our last couple of nights in NZ! :(
