Very little to report today! As we were staying on the same site for 2 nights we decided that we deserved a lay in, especially as we struggle getting up early at the mo! We're both shattered as we've had a busy few weeks so decided to stay at this site by the lake for 2nights so that we could have today to chill and relax a bit. We were up early and set off heading inland and north a bit towards the central lakes. We drove through many small rural towns along the way before stopping and lake Pukaki for some lunch. It was such a lovely day and we ended up spending a while there admiring the views and sunbaking! We could see Mount Cook which we had seen whilst driving down the west coast.
