About 20k west of Palm Springs is the Desert Hills Premium Outlets, they are massive, the largest in California with over 180 designer stores. Enough to keep you going all day. I normally don't like shopping but even with the ordinary dollar you can get some great bargains here and stock up for a year or two. Spent most of the day shopping and after had a nice Mexican dinner right next to the hotel. I have been seeing a lot of muscle cars getting around while over here, the main three players seem to be Ford Mustang GT, Dodge Charger and Chevy Camaro. For looks alone the Camaro wins hands down. I saw one totally black, very black tint and black headlight covers, looked a bit like KIT.
