It is always sad leaving Vegas. Winning lotto and living near Vegas would be pretty cool.
The drive to LA is pretty boring. Big freeways the whole way. Only the last 5 k down sunset blvd is not freeway. Staying at best western on sunset blvd. A great spot close to, the viper room, the house of blues, whiskey a go go and several other famous spots. Dropped the car and luggage off and walked down to red rock bar. It is a cool spot on sunset blvd with the balcony overlooking sunset blvd. First 5 minutes saw 5 bentley convertibles, 3 maserati's, 3 ferraris and 4 Aston martins, not to mention the 20 or so range rovers, corvettes, porches and audis. Happy hour from 4 to 7 pm. Finished happy hour and strolled back up to saddle ranch to have some treat ribs. On the way up we passed Dan Ackroyds House of Blues and had Vince Neil and his girlfriend walk past us to enter the venue. Paparazzi were around him as well. Dinner at saddle ranch was as good as we remember it. In the middle of the bar is an electronic bull. All the takers where girls, funny to watch. Good last night in USA. Will take Eileen around Hollywood and Beverley Hills tomorrow before heading to the airport tomorrow afternoon, flying out tomorrow night.
