Left site before 10am. Didn't see the people we met last night. Drove to Naracoorte Caves and had a look round the Wet Cave. Stayed for a brew and a biscuit and then back on the road. Stopped for lunch about 2 ish after getting back into Victoria and changing our watches again. Dad took over the driving as I was falling asleep. We drove to Halls Gap. Maybe not the best in a campervan but the views were awesome. Think Hole of Horcum, just 100 times bigger and better. The noise leaving the gap was surround sound of crickets, sorry sicadas! Dad thought there was something up with the van it was so loud. Just before we got to the site dad was breathalysed. The police were out in force as it was Melbourne Cup Day.
Arrived at site just after 5 and pitched up. Went for a quick dip in the outside heated pool. Unfortunately loads of school kids in as its a bank holiday in Victoria because of the racing.
